Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia (CSISA)
Goal:
The goal of this project is to increase farm household income and agricultural productivity focusing on improved cereal cropping systems, fish, livestock, and other high-value agricultural crops and vegetables.
Activities:
Demonstrations of improved technologies and associated trainings, dissemination of improved cropping systems technologies, quality seed production and storage at farm level providing necessary credits and community based marketing, Select, with input from CSISA-IRRI, approximately five hundred (500) farmers to receive training for the improved seed storage technique of rice and other crops, as well as quality rice seed production and storage, Organize women rally to aware and involvement of women farmers to disseminate the evaluated and demonstrated technologies both by IRRI and Ashroy Foundation, Conduct demonstrations of improved technologies, aus 2013, and aman 2013, Video preparation for informal training for post harvest activities of rice seed.
