Accounts Officer

Educational Qualification : M.com

Age: 25-40 Years Maximum

Relevant Experience: Minimum of 05 years' practical experience from any renowned NGO's in Bangladesh. Good oral and written communication skills both in Bangla and English.

Salary: BDT Minimum/lowest 34000/- (Salary on discuss if necessary)

Major Job Responsibility/terms and condition For Finance and Accounts Officer

Maintain cash book, ledger books, bills, vouchers etc. as per Ashroy Foundation policies as well as applicable policies and procedures based on agreement.
Maintain stock register for the items in the store including stationary, cheque issue register, vendor list etc.
Monitoring of expenditures to ensure proper utilization and charging of expenditures: Monitor expenditures using Budget Expenditure Summary (BES) on monthly quarterly and annual basis, Ensure that the expenditures done as per plan, Ensure that charging is done as per budget line item.
Verify requests for payments/advances/replenishments and ensure correctness, completeness, and validity of vouchers and other supporting documents before processing;
Monitor the status of all receivable/payable/prepaid accounts. Undertakes necessary follow up for the purpose of liquidation/settlement of receivable and payables;
Maintain Chart of Accounts as per financial policy
Ensure that payments cheques are ready for disbursements within reasonable time to facilitate the implementation of the program;
Handle the organisation's cash including issuing receipts and banking money
Administer the payment process to ensure accounts are paid on time
Complete the books of account and reconcile them every month. Keep complete and up to date files of supporting documents for reference and audit
Maintain records for cash, equipment and stock control
Keep the asset register for computers, vehicles and office equipment.
Lead the preparation of accurate financial data, analysis and projections and support the Senior Management Team
Ensure that payment to the vendors is made upon deduction of VAT/Taxes as per government policy, Ensure that the items are stored and entered into the stock register as per policy
Tracking of fund status and ensuring timely fund request. Track the expenditures as per line item, Support management to keep the expenditure within budget by providing trend of line item wise expenditures, maintain the all kinds of liaison & transaction with bank.
Knowledge on Finance and Administration policy any renowned National organizations
Recommend internal control and accounting systems that improve compliance with polices and regulations
Review donor agreements to be aware of conditions attached to grants for projects. Prepare narrative progress reports and liaise with finance staff to deliver donor reports on time.
Implement appropriate controls to safeguard programme cash, supplies and equipment
Skills on training/coaching on financial aspects. Technical skill on Procurement, Budget and Financial report preparation. Skills in logistic supports and inventory management.
Computer skills (Word processing, Excel, Spreadsheet, internet communication)
Enter transaction records of DV, RV and JV Tally uploading and ensure that the data is complete and accurate.
You must have to work in head office of Ashroy Foundation/field office but frequently move respectively as an when necessary at field level
Ability to work in a team environment. Must be located within a maximum of 05 km of the office if recruited.
